Mrs. Irina LUCAN-ARJOCA is Deputy-Director General of the Romanian Copyright Office (ORDA) since July 2012.
After graduating Law School, University of Bucharest, in 2000 she joined ORDA as a legal adviser, along the years holding various positions within the Office, including Head of the International Department. In the period 2010-2012 she acted as Project Manager within The Romanian National Television (SRTv) and as counsellor within the Control Division, the National Institute for Statistics (INSSE).
In the field of copyright and related rights she benefits by remarkable experience, performing a large array of activities. At present she supervises, organises, coordinates, controls, and evaluates all activities carried out by ORDA and represents the Office in all domestic and international relations.
She is a member of various working groups in the field of IP, established at national and international level and she is often invited as lecturer at a wide range of domestic and international events.
